Privacy Policy

What data we keep, what for, who we share it with and how to ask us to delete it.

This is a courtesy translation. If this version and the Spanish version differ, the Spanish version prevails.

Who is responsible

MURCIA GROUP SRL, with its registered address at Calle 9P #03, Villa Olga, Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, is responsible for the personal data collected on this website and through its contact channels.

The data is handled by the company, through its Technology department. For any privacy matter, write to support@murciagrouprd.com or call +1 (849) 522-4247.

This policy is based on Law 172-13 of the Dominican Republic on the protection of personal data.

What data we collect and where from

  • Website forms: your name, your WhatsApp, your email if you give it, the city, what you're interested in and your message; plus the page you write from, the project or property, the details of the campaign that brought you, the date and the version of this policy you accepted.
  • A project's brochure: when you download it, your name and your WhatsApp, as in the other forms.
  • Applications ("Join Murcia"): your name, your WhatsApp, your email, the area you work in, your experience and your résumé as a PDF, with the date and the version of this policy you accepted.
  • WhatsApp: if you write to us, your number, your profile name and whatever you tell us in the conversation.
  • Before you move to WhatsApp from the website: your name and your WhatsApp, the button you tapped, the page, the project or property and the pre-written message, with the date and the version of this policy you accepted. They go into our contact system just like the forms. We also save your name and your WhatsApp in your browser for 90 days so we don't ask for them again: meanwhile, every time you tap a WhatsApp button on the website, the contact is recorded with those details. You can delete them whenever you like by clearing this site's data in your browser.
  • Forms in our Facebook and Instagram ads: the details you enter in the ad form (such as name, phone and email) and your answers. Meta sends them to us and they go into our contact system.
  • News by email: your email and, if we ask for them, your name and interests. If you tick the «Email me project updates» box, also the date and IP address of the sign-up and of the confirmation of your email. For each email we send you, whether it was delivered, whether you opened it, which links you clicked and whether you unsubscribed.
  • Cookies: only if you accept them, data about your visit (pages you view, device and where you come from) through Google Analytics and Meta Pixel. The details are in the Cookie notice.
  • Maps: when a map appears on screen (on the home page, contact, destinations and listings), your browser requests it from Google Maps. Google receives your IP address and the technical details of that request, and may store or read data in your browser to make the map work. None of that reaches us.
  • Videos: if you tap a listing's video, YouTube's player loads in its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Nothing from YouTube loads before you tap it. Google receives your IP address and the technical details of the playback.

Our contact system (CRM). What you send us through the website and through Meta forms is stored in an internal Murcia Group system. There, each contact is assigned to a person on the team according to the project or area, and the follow-up, reminders and status of your inquiry are recorded (for example, whether we've already contacted you or scheduled a visit).

The team receives an email notice for each new contact. That email doesn't include your phone number or your email address.

Your résumé is stored in private storage, separate from the website's photos, and can only be opened with a link that expires within minutes. Only Human Resources and administration can see it. Human Resources receives an email notice for each new application, without your details.

What we use it for and on what basis

  • To answer your inquiry and put you in touch with an advisor.
  • To assign your inquiry to the right person on the team and follow it up.
  • To know which ads and campaigns work, only if you accept analytics or advertising cookies.
  • To send you news about projects and properties by email, if you ticked the «Email me project updates» box and confirmed your email, or if you asked us for information (see «If you asked us for information»).
  • To assess your application and contact you if it fits a hiring process.

The basis is your consent: you give us your data when you write to us so that we contact you, you choose which cookies you accept and you tick the «Email me project updates» box and confirm your email. You can withdraw it whenever you want (see «Your rights»).

If you asked us for information. If in the last 12 months you asked us for information about a project or a property (on the website, on WhatsApp or through a form in one of our ads), we may send you news about projects and properties by email, even if you did not tick the box. We only write to you about projects and properties. Every email includes a link to unsubscribe with one click, at any time, and from then on we will not write to you again.

Who we share it with

We don't share your data with the builders or developers of the projects. Within Murcia Group it's seen only by those who need it for their role: the assigned advisor, sales, marketing, management and administration.

In addition, these providers deliver the service to us and process the data on our behalf:

How long we keep it

Contacts and WhatsApp conversations: 2 years from our last contact with you. After that, we delete them.

Applications and résumés: 1 year, or sooner if you ask us to delete them.

Backups: they are renewed every 90 days; no backup is kept longer than that.

News by email: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep only your email and the date you unsubscribed, so we don't write to you again.

Cookies: however long each one lasts, according to the Cookie notice.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see what data of yours we have, to correct it, to delete it or to stop using it to contact you.

Write to support@murciagrouprd.com or call +1 (849) 522-4247 with your name and the phone number or email you contacted us with. We'll reply within 30 days at most.

  • Cookies: change your choice whenever you want in “Cookie settings”, at the bottom of every page.
  • News by email: every email includes a link to unsubscribe with one click, at any time.

Security

The website is encrypted (HTTPS). Only the team can log in to the contact system, with their corporate account, and each person sees only what they need for their role. What is done in it is logged. The website form can only add contacts, not read them. And we make a weekly backup to private storage.

Minors

This website is not intended for people under 18. If you're a minor, don't send us your data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The version in force is the one published on this page, and if it changes, the cookie notice will ask you again.
